Life is simple once when you accept responsibility for your own choices and decisions. The only thing you have to implement are new habits. I am bringing you 5 morning rituals that have changed my life completely.

  1. WAKE UP EARLIER – Now when you want to improve your life and implement a few new habits you may need some extra time to organise your life better.

  1. DRINK A GLASS OF WARM LEMON WATER – Drinking a glass of warm lemon water first thing in the morning will boost your energy, mood, immune system and the lemon will help get your digestive system ready for the coming meals. Personally, I add 1tbs of cinnamon, honey, and turmeric in my lemon water to boost my immune system even more.

  1. STRECH YOUR BODY – Stretching in the morning reduce muscle tension, maintain your current level of flexibility and reduce potential back pain.

  1. MOTIVATION – Every morning for the last 2 years I spend at least 5 minutes on listening some motivational video or reading one chapter of some motivational book. I use to struggle with motivation a lot and this small ritual improved my whole life.

  1. HAVE BREAKFAST – Yes, I know, the hardest one. I use to hate that but not anymore. I truly love myself and I am completely aware of all the benefits that one bowl of fresh fruits can do to my body. If you really can’t eat breakfast which you should start at least with one apple or banana or some healthy sandwich.

  1. POPIJTE CASU TOPLE VODE SA LIMUNOM – Pijuci casu tople vode sa limunom povecavate vasu energiju te poboljsavate raspolozenje I imunoloski sistem. Osobno u casu tople vode s limunom dodam I jednu kaskicu cimeta, meda I kurkuma kako bi svoj imunoloski sistem poboljsala jos I vise.

  1. DORUCKUJTE – Znam, sve znam. Ni sama nisam dugo mogla doruckovati ujutro no kako mi je moje zdravlje zaista bitno odlucila sam to promjeniti. Nikada ne preskacem dorucak koji obiluje raznim vrstama voca. Pocnite makar sa jednom bananom, jabukom ili nekakvih zdravim sendvicem.

Meet Aja. A unconventionally simple web designer who’s on a mission to help every newbie entrepreneur dominate the world.

If you are just starting your business I highly recommend you a warm-hearted, responsible and highly effective business woman with who work is more fun than fun. Your desire to succeed and her energy and passion for your project can lead to success. Her motto is: ‘It’s not who you are that holds you back, it’s who you think you are not.’

  1. Introduce yourself? I’m Aja-a bohemian, free flowing life loving, chocolate avocado pudding eating, minimalist, mother of 3 boys who finally figured out what to do to live a life I love

  1. Tell us more about your business? I’ve been creating websites for about 4 years, but I just started doing it professionally last year. I specialize in helping new entrepreneurs create a web presence that gets results but also empowers them to live the life they dream of and be who they desire to be.

  1. How long were you running the business before you started paying yourself? I started paying myself immediately. Let me explain. I believe in rewarding myself-but, not for effort, or small things-I have high expectations of myself and believe that it takes 10 times the effort you think it will take to reach your goals. I did that (and continue to do it)-so I pay myself first.

  1. What are your plans, where do you see yourself in 5 years? Good question! My plans are leaning towards helping budding web designers build a business they love. I also want to take a theme design class. It is just something I am very interested in because I think it would be fun to learn, but you never know what business might come out of it.

  1. What is yours top 5 tips for entrepreneurial success? Mindset is the most important tool you will ever have 2. Understand that marketing can be made up as you go along (don’t just think outside of the box-know there is no box) 3. Always read a lot (successful people read) Must read are The Desire Map-Danielle Laporte/The 10X Rule-Grant Cardone/May Cause Miracles-Gabrielle Bernstein 4. Only you can determine what success looks like for you. 5. Never compete with other people, dominate your industry

  1. What do you know now that you wish you knew when you first started? Success doesn’t happen overnight but if you building your biz (and your life) based on your desires, you’ll be just fine. Oh, and do everything 10X.

  1. What advice would you have for someone who is just starting with their blog? Keep on going.

Big thank and huge respect to this wonderful woman for all the things that she did for me. You are a true blessing.

HOW TO BUILD SELF-CONFIDENCE?

I think every person in the world had some problems with self-confidence in some stage of their lives.

The good news is that you can change it easily. It is not gonna happen over the night, it’s step by step process but not impossible.

When you want to change something in your life you have to start with yourself. When you change yourself everything change. Obviously because of some reasons you are not achieving what you want so that is a sign that old ways are not gonna open a new door. I know that we all like to be in our comfort zone, I was there once, but you can’t expect something is gonna come to you without taking actions to achieve it.

  1. ADMIT TO YOURSELF THAT YOU DON’T HAVE CONFIDENCE – First and the most important step. It’s kind of hard to admit it but it’s the best option for you. You are not alone, many people are struggling with the same problem. And, no, it’s not embarrassing, embarrassing is not to want to improve your life. This is not “no exit” situation, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, always.
  2. THINK POSITIVE – What a miraculous thing is to be you. You are unique. No one who has ever lived or is it to come has had your combination of abilities, talents, and opportunities. Start believing in that and stop comparing yourself with others. What are you really comparing? There is nothing to compare.
  3. ENCOURAGE YOURSELF – It seems so hard at the beginning but the first step is the most important step. At least you can try. On the internet you have millions of videos on how to achieve self-confidence and your goals, you have many inspirational stories and motivational books, (my favorite), which can boost your confidence. You can even write a diary where you are gonna encourage yourself to do what you want. You can train your brain on the way you want if you want.

IT IS UP TP YOU.

KAKO IZGRADITI SAMOPOUZDANJE?

No, ipak mozete makar pokusati.

Rumi, one of the most famous Persian poet, once said: “Travel brings power and love back into your life”. Well, he was definitely right. That feeling when you visit another country, when you get familiar with their culture and ways of living is priceless. Traveling makes you rich. You can watch as many videos as you can or read as many books as you can but nothing is like to be there and walk through those streets, breathe that air, get in touch with those people and examine their culture.

plan a trip to Persia

Iran

January 2017. Was my first trip to Iran/Persia.

After a very long, comfortable and safe trip with my favorite airline company, Emirates, we landed in Dubai. While I was waiting for my flight to Tehran I was excited to finally visit Iran.  Since I know myself, I was always wanted to visit and explore the Middle East. As Soon as we took off and crossed the Persian Gulf, we entered Iran airspace. I was really happy. I said to myself, that’s it, I am really here, this is really happening. Maybe twenty minutes before landing we got a warning for not to import alcohol into Iran and females should cover their hair with a scarf and have proper clothes. Finally, we landed in Tehran, the capital of Iran. After filling up a very short application and paying 55 USD I received 30 days valid visa at the airport. My fiancé family was waiting for us with tons of flowers and after a short drive,  we finally got into our apartment in Tehran.I was impressed so much with their apartment internal design.  Every room had a traditional Persian carpet with that royal style beds and dressing tables. We had a view on most important symbols of Tehran, Azadi Square and Milad Tower (sixth tallest tower in the world), the city was just in front of us. We spent 6 days in Tehran where we visited almost all of the Persian king’s palaces as well as the palace of the last Iranian king Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and his wife Farah Diba. I think I have never seen that much luxury and prestige in whole my life.

After Tehran we went to Esfahan, we didn’t want to go by plane, so we went by car. It took us 6 hours to get there and we enjoyed the landscape. When we finally got to my mother in law house and we had the most delicious meal ever. Chicken kebab with traditional steamed basmati rice mixed with walnuts, pistachio, berries and saffron juice. The explosion of tastes, it makes me hungry every time I think about it. Esfahan/Isfahan is a historical city, famous for his monuments, paintings, and architecture. They call it: Half of the world. The Naqhsh-e Jahan Square is one of the largest city squares in the world surrounded with one of the most famous bazaars. Bazar in Esfahan is the center of art. While I was walking through Esfahan bazar I saw and met many tourists from New Zeland, Europe, and Asia. Local people are really in love with tourists. Once they find out you are a tourist you are being bombarded with tons of questions and there is no chance you can get away without them offering you Iranian black tea or being invited for dinner. I ate lots of foods and I don’t regret it. Riding in a carriage through one of the biggest squares in the world, The Naqhsh-e Jahan square, was one of the most beautiful experiences I ever had.

From Esfahan, we went on Kish Island to meet with rest of our family from the other parts of Iran, Germany, and Switzerland. Kish Island is 91.5 square kilometer in the Persian Gulf.

Kish Island was among the top 10 most beautiful islands in the world by New York Times in 2010. There is absolutely no word to describe that undiscovered island, that beauty, and untouched nature so I have decided to write one completely new post about Kish Island.

Our house had a view of Persian Gulf (Iranian side). I spent the most beautiful 11 mornings and evenings drinking my coffee or tea in peace, listening to Persian Gulf waves, watching turtles swimming and enjoying the sun. My days were finishing walking next to white, long, clear beaches. Paradise on Earth. That was what I needed.

Our journey was coming to its end so we took the plane to Esfahan where we collected all our belongings, including 20kg suitcase filled only with souvenirs, and dishes from Esfahan’s bazar. Yes, 20kilo.

Ride from Esfahan to Tehran was kind of sad, we had to say goodbye to everything. There are so many other great cities to visit but we decided to leave that for next time.

If you are looking to discover an ancient country with lot’s of historical places, different climate, and delicious foods, Iran is the right place to be, but if you are looking for clubbing, getting drunk and that sort of things it’s better to think about some other destination.

Let me share with you couple of useful things that are important to know if you want to visit Iran.

  1. RULES – Iran is an Islamic country and you are not allowed to bring alcohol into Iran also officially there is no alcohol to buy. Women should wear long T-shirts which are covering their hips and they should have a scarf around their head which they can bring it to the middle of their head, actually they can show their hair without any problem.
  2. VISA – You can obtain your visa on your arrival at the airport very easy. You only need your passport, of course, some invitation letter if you have private accommodation or just your hotel/booking details. I had my travel insurance with me just in case but they didn’t ask for that. Visa is 50 EUR or 55 USD, you can’t pay with their local currency so make sure you have that money ready with you and remember other currencies are not accepted in the airport. Whoever visited Israel and has stamped in their passport will not obtain Iran’s visa.
  3. SOCIAL MEDIA – Youtube and Facebook are filtered but other platforms are free to use and Instagram is the most popular one.
  4. PEOPLE – I found Iranian people very friendly, respectful and open minded, they really like tourists and I got a lot of help wherever I was (airport, street, shops, restaurants, etc.)
  5. DRIVING – Be very careful if you are gonna drive because driving is a bit challenging.
  6. SAFETY – It’s very safe, I didn’t have any problem wherever I was.
